Bonya is 4 years old, medium sized ,mixed bread

 Male 23 kgs , 52 cm in withers

CHARACTERISTICS

Shy, but, oh so loving boy, does not like loud noises, brisk movements, and busy environments..He is also receiving daily medication to help with anxiety, and the new family will need to continue with treatment regimen.

HOUSE-TRAINED:   house and leash trained

HEALTH   

neutered, up to date with vaccines and is microchipped.

GOOD IN A HOME WITH

Meet Bonya 🐾💙

After spending some much-needed decompression time with foster family, this lovely gentleman is now ready for his permanent home.

Bonya is very nice, but shy dog. With new people he has “stranger-danger” reaction. He does not like load noises, brisk movements, and busy environments. His fosters did a great job in helping him to come out of his shell and preparing him to happily ever after. He is also receiving daily medication to help with anxiety, and the new family will need to continue with treatment regimen.

He is not reactive on walks and does not pull. At home, once he gets to know and starts to trust you, he is the best cuddle bug.

Ideal family:
We are looking for a family that at a time is quiet (i.e. few visitors and commotions), and active outdoors (i.e. loves long walks, hikes, ect) . Ideally family that has experience with dogs, and fearful dogs particularly, who will work with Bonya while respecting his boundaries and helping him to feel safe and comfortable. No kids for this boy, but other dogs or cats are OK.

Female, weighting only 20 pounds and measuring 15 inches.

CHARACTERISTICS

Small, active, cheerful,  smart, playful

HOUSE-TRAINED    Yes

HEALTH   

Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with ticks and flees prevention.

GOOD IN A HOME WITH    

Children, other dogs, dog savvy cats.

Meet  Nora.

Nora was born during the summer months to a stray mother who secured a little hiding place close to a busy highway. So as soon as her and her littermates were big enough to venture out of their den, our volunteers knew it was just a question of time before the tragedy hits. This is how Nora’s way to a foster home started.

Her foster family describes her as playful, happy pup who loves to play with other dogs, and can play for hours and hours, if allowed. She may be initially a bit shy meeting new people, but she gratefully accepts affection, and can be a bit jealous of sharing her humans and may insist on getting attention. She is potty trained, walks well on leash and loves car rides. She is obviously good with other dogs, but also dog savvy cats.
