I AM NORA

Nora is a happy and healthy 3 yo old girl,  mixed bread

Female, weighting only 20 pounds and measuring 15 inches.

CHARACTERISTICS

Small, active, cheerful,  smart, playful

HOUSE-TRAINED    Yes

HEALTH

Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with ticks and flees prevention.

GOOD IN A HOME WITH

Children, other dogs, dog savvy cats.

Meet  Nora.

Nora was born during the summer months to a stray mother who secured a little hiding place close to a busy highway. So as soon as her and her littermates were big enough to venture out of their den, our volunteers knew it was just a question of time before the tragedy hits. This is how Nora’s way to a foster home started.

Her foster family describes her as playful, happy pup who loves to play with other dogs, and can play for hours and hours, if allowed. She may be initially a bit shy meeting new people, but she gratefully accepts affection, and can be a bit jealous of sharing her humans and may insist on getting attention. She is potty trained, walks well on leash and loves car rides. She is obviously good with other dogs, but also dog savvy cats.

Meet our princess, Sophie!

This young (estimated to be1.5 y.o.) miniature lady weights just 7 kg, but all 7 kg are pure love.

Sophie was rescued from a high kill shelter in Korea and was pulled from euthanasia list.

This is what her foster says about Sophie: this girl loves all humans, adults and kids, she is playful, yet not overly (medium energy level). She is friendly with other dogs: plays with ones of her size and mostly minds her business when it comes to larger dogs. We are not sure how is she with cats. Sophie was left alone up to 4 hours and did not show signs of separation anxiety or destructive behavior. She is not a barker and does very well with grooming (bathing, cleaning ears, nail trims). She started her crate training and successfully crated for short periods of time. Sophie walks well on leash, but she can be a little apprehensive of loud unfamiliar noises. She rides well in cars. Her house training is well under way. She sometimes uses pee pads, and occasionally may have an accident at home, but her foster was working with her on being 100% outdoor potty trained, and she is catching up very fast.
